| In operation, a watering program
can be built from up to 100 steps, each containing a maximum
number of 4 decoders (i.e. valve) numbers *. Each step
can water from 1 to 255 minutes. While the step is active,
all the decoders in the group are on, permitting a shorter
overall watering time. By assigning different decoder numbers
to steps, the order of watering can be adjusted.
Each watering program can be assigned a start time, up
to eight times each day. For each start, a watering budget
of 105 to 250% can be supplied to allow the watering time
to be carried throughout the program itself. Additionally,
each program can be split into three consecutive runs,
each one third of the time assigned, to help prevent water
run-off.
The automatic watering described is augmented by a manual
start of up to four stations at a time. Finally, comprehensive
diagnostics are provided to help find field wiring, decoder
or solenoid problems.
The Demi-Rain combines simplicity with a level of performance
way beyond that expected for its budget price. An easy
upgrade path ensures little redundancy as needs grow.
*Only Tonick and Aquarius decoders may be on simultaneously.
Only one original Watermation MK1 may be on at a time.
