Following on from the best-selling
Watermation TW-2 controller, the
Tonick TW-3 combines simplicity of
programming with the latest technology.
This makes it extremely easy to set
up, with a dial-type rotary switch and
graphics backlit LCD.
As with other latest high technology
products, there is a signifi cant reduction
in both cost and size.
The case is waterproof as is the
transformer feeding it, so there is no
worry where to mount the TW-3. The
case and label use advanced UV resistant
materials. Each of the four watering
programs has up to 12 starts/day and
can be programmed for any or all days
of the week plus odd and even dates.
Programs may run in parallel giving up
to 4 decoders on at the same time. Any
station number may be included in any
program without restriction. Overlapping
starts on the same program will stack.
Each program may be modifi ed by a
monthly seasonal adjust percentage.
An additional no-watering window and
no-water dates may be specified.
A fifth manual program is available,
running independently of any automatic.
This can be used from the front panel
for diagnostic investigations or to run
programs using the built-in remote
control circuit.
Comprehensive history files are kept.
These include a run log, failure log and
total time/precipitation over the last 7
days for each station.

- 1 single 2/3 wire path, decoder type factory configurable:
- 1-127 Tonick TW/2W-1 'Watermation' type
decoders, Watermation MK1 originals, Logic
Aquarius 2-wire, Tonick TW/WM.
- 1-99 Toro Trident/SC3000 3 wire decoders
- Waterproof case, UV resistant
- Waterproof external transformer. UL Listed/CE
conforming.
- Histories of decoders run, any failures, past week's
minutes and precipitation applied.
- Precipitation rate defi nable for each station.
 Station run time adjustable from 30 seconds to 9
hours OR by precipitation in 1mm increments.- 4 programs. Each will run independently of
one another, so up to 4 decoders on at once if
run times are concurrent. Best thought of as 4
independent controllers in one box. Run-times,
from 30 - 32,767 seconds.
- Overlapping starts on the same program will stack.
- Manual run of decoders in addition to the above,

- Electrical wire path tests. Readout of line current.
Rapid testing of stations, one by one.
- Seasonal adjust, month by month for each program.
 Programming decoder station numbers and testing
of 2-wire decoders before installation, using a
drop-down test lead with 4 crocodile clips.- DTMF decoder built-in, to allow remote control
with a hand held transmitter with keypad. Can use
a low cost off-the-shelf receiver, like a Scanner or
a license-free mobile radio, to receive the radio
signal.
- Optional DTMF microphone with keypad; plugs
into most low cost 2 way radios to allow remote
control.
